Equipment for hardening and repair of machine parts and cutting tools

This equipment is intended for Electro-Spark treatment of details of machines. Such treatment increases wear-resistance, restores sizes of worn-out machine parts, hardens effective areas of cutting and pressing tools. It also can be used to cover electrical contacts with silver.

Description

The equipment for Electro-Spark alloying “IMES” is based on polar carrying of a material from the anode on the cathode (detail) under action of the electrical category. Advantages of a method:

  • high durability of coupling of a alloyed layer with a material of a basis;
  • locality of treatment;
  • opportunity of coating any conducting materials;
  • low power consumption of a process;
  • simplicity of technological operations. The electrodes for hardening of cutting tools can be made of hard metals containing tungsten.

Technical characteristics

  • power supply of the equipment from an alternating current with voltage (220 ± 22) V and frequence (50 ± 1) Hz;
  • consumed power at the rated voltage is 0,5 kW;
  • discrete changing of operating mode of the equipment; amount of operating modes - 75;
  • amplitude of a voltage on capacitors is 40-80 V;
  • impulse frequency is 200-600 Hz;
  • weight of equipment is 13 kg.

Areas of application

Woodworking industry:

For hardening working surfaces of the cutting tool in a woodworking industry.
Wear-resistance of band-saws and milling cutters is increased up to 10 times.

Vehicle repair:

Restoration of size of worn-out machine parts, hardening of the cutting tools etc.

Electrical Engineering:

Deposit of coverings (plating) on electrical contacts.
